Exactly releventchair, in the past our blinds have been moved. pushed in, flattened but this is the first time a bear has torn parts of it to shreds.
Bear was probably having a bad day .... We do have extra blinds just in case what happened here would happen ....
As kids Dad would pitch a big old canvas tent for us some summer nights.
One wall had been resewn in a crude pattern allegedly due to a bear going through it.
Which helped add spice to a night in it. Couldn't have one without a story made of it and the as usual for the eras cruddy batteries short lived battery flashlight illuminating the stitching for special effect.

Inside the blind I leave a hunting chair, two tripods, the cases for the blind and tripods and including the blind around $650.00 worth.
Not only one would be out the dollar value but more importantly one would be scrambling to set up again so last night I ordered a
Bear Electric Fence system. In the long run not only peace of mind and potential dollars saved, my season will not be interrupted......
