Dave's statement was about geology, not politics. Why go off on him, why don't you just correct his geology. No one is asking you to actually be civil to him, but maybe you could consider it........

1. Because Fracking is 100% political. I can't believe you don't see that.

2. Because Fracking is 100% UNRELATED to the Bayou Corne Sinkhole.

3. Because Davest is attempting to derail the thread and make a political issue in hopes of locking the thread.

would someone please tell me how they turn the salt into brine and harvest it? Are there miners that work in the domes? How about long straws that draw the brine out?

I'm wondering because from the looks of things, I have totally misunderstood how this sinkhole was created.

There was another famous salt dome collapse ... and it was the result of drilling which punctured the dome near Jefferson Island.



The reason there are trucks in the underground mine is because men worked there.

I remember when this happened, it was all that was on our local news for a few days.

This is NOT what happened at Bayou Corne.
