As to a few of the latest posts above, here is an idea........A while back, on this and another forum, one of the Oregon members explained how he devised a technique to run a bazooka in fast flowing deeper water with no exposed rocks to set the sluice up in. He bouyed the zook up with pool floaties, attached a sling to the back of the sluice and looped an anchor rope to the sling and let the current keep it floating but semi-submerged and in line with the flow. Kind of like this illustration: --------<zook (anchor line attached to sling attached to bouyed up zook. He said it worked for him but had to work on flotation, angles, etc. to get it to work right.
