Hello Tnet Members
Found myself working today in the Eastern Beaches area of Toronto, so I decided to head down to the beach to eat my lunch. 8) Man am I ever glad I did! Because when I got there I found that construction workers had torn out about 200ft. of the boardwalk in front of the Balmy Beach Canoe Club! Thankfully, I always carry my detector with me, as I was a long way from home and promptly headed back to my truck to get it.
Talking to the construction workers on-site I found out that this stretch of boardwalk had last been replaced back in the 1970's. As you can see from the photo's, my finds were pretty much limited to modern coins and pennies. But I did manage to pull a 1962 Silver Dime, a 1932 Penny, a 1967 Centennial Penny and an old Toronto Transit Token.
Thanks for looking and the best of luck to you!
