Hello,
I was courious if a Whites beach hunter ID would work nuggett hunting in the rocky and sandy soils of the Nevada canyons? I would think it would but not sure.
Im sure there are others better, but this is what I have now.
Any info with this would be appricated.

Apparently no one has tried it ! Give her a try and let us know how it goes.
It would be my guess that it would not fare very well the beach is alki and where you find Gold is highly mineralized,,totally different ,,,sort of like from one end of scale to the other.

You are working with extreme GB problems in the desert ... plus you have magnatite and hematite.. HOT ROCKS. I dont know what freq the ID is, but if its not say 14kHz or above it just wont be an EFFECTIVE detector. Unless you find an extremely large nugget you would likely just walk right over it. The TID nor the sound isnt something you are used to. I can tell you you will find heal tacks, nails, buttons and other junks. Id suggest finding a cheap used gold bug cant beat them.

Thanks for the info..I'm going to bring it with me and bury some gold I have, coins and rings, at different depths and see what it does. :icon_scratch: I might get lucky.

3-15kHz you have what it takes/ give it a try !!! gottit!!!
