We have spent 2 weeks in Portugal from 3 till 19th of June. Lived near Albufeira, South part of Portugal, Atlantic Ocean.
I used my MD every day for 2-3 hours. There were no other MDsts - so I was alone :)
I've got a lot of coins - total in clad for euros - maybe 50 (about 65USD)
Also got some "old" Portugal coins
One silver ring, 2 junk rings, and...
GOLD ring - my wife like it :)
Here are some photos

You are right - I promised her one with diamonds if she allow me to buy GTI 2500 :)

Those new euros sure take a beating. I still have some in my backpack that llok like zinc pennies that have been buried for ten years. These came right out of my pocket. Oh, and my backpack is full of soil.

It's strange - it looks like euros rusted in the same second they gone to sand. Portugees coins are more stable
