More than likely not ancient Beads, especially since they look to still be attached to thread or string.

It was just rolling down the creek when I found it. it looks like hair holding it together and there is multiple strands going throw each bead. And the stick the beads are rapped around has two layers one is the wood and the other is lighter colored material.

Your beads are called a "peyote stitch" . See this: Peyote stitch - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A lot of the peyote stitching is done on keychains and such.
