This spot has gold.....no doubt about it....but is it worth the headaches to dig? We spent a lot of time just talking about if we wanted to move out of the the area.

Hey Goose, Yoda here, do not fill in your hole until I get a look at it. I have been trying to get down to the clay layer for years in that area but even at 6 to 8ft down I would hit huge boulders and have to move on. Very nice gold down there with the possibly of nuggets like the ones I found about 30ft up river from where you are digging. I plan on going down there this Sunday to do a little fishing and mushrooming, Chanterelles should be up. I will let you know what I think about where you are digging plus I will mark a place for you to dig, it was place I was digging but gave it up after finding a richer place, Ed
