My home, my heart!! Beautiful Josie I love the stonework too, Osage State Park has extensive CCC work, I never get tired of the sandstone, except when flint hunting . How about some blizzard pictures? I bet they would melt! Y'all have a cool holiday in the pool!

I just can't imagine living anywhere else, can you Lisa? These hills are a part of my childhood and God willing I'll never leave them.
(The sandstone doesn't bother me as much as the limestone does when flint hunting .)

Here's a snow pic to cool you down---Hard to believe with these 100+ temps that we were in the midst of a major snowstorm just 5 months ago!

Hey sc, I really like those effects with the pics. Gives them an interesting look. I think i have hiked to that railroad culvert in the past. Looks familiar. I took pics of it as well. Seems like there were some old wooden telephone/electric poles along the along the track that still had the glass insulators on them... Nice pics.

Thanks Buckshot ......The culvert[in these pics] is next the road that goes west of the "T" here on the Preserve....Kinda on the way to Foraker(you know where I'm talking about?).
The country-side is so beautiful over that way---its just wide open space with nothing but hills and cattle.
