Started metal detecting in June with my Ace 150. With in the first two months found a 1948 Rosie and a 1941 Mercury. Got my At pro two months ago and still haven't found a 3rd silver coin. That all changed today, found another 1941 Mercury in a park. Starting to learn the different sounds the pro makes. The more time I spend with it the more I love it. I think more silver is in my near future. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1418267614.916296.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1418267693.484721.webp

Im in San Diego. Already on my 5th Wheatie and 2nd buffalo nickel...a 14k gold ring, 2 silver rings, a bracelet and about 110.00 in newer coins with my AT GOLD. All this in a month and a 1/2...Buying an Excalibur 1000 and moving to the water starting next week. Time to find some BIG rings. Im sure the AT Pro is a good machine but it's more about the owner. I followed behind 2 guys w/ pro's at a park the other day and found target after target that they missed. Swinging to fast and not walking slow enough will cause you to miss ALOT, not to mention your settings. I run discrim 1 at 30. I dig EVERY hit.. Frustrating at times but that's why your there..... to dig.
