I had to take a hiatus for a few weeks to recover from carpal tunnel surgery and was going a bit stir crazy, not being able to get out and hunt. As soon as I had my followup appt the Dr cleared me hot to get back out there (only really 2 + weeks of recovery time not too bad!) so I went home, grabbed my stuff and hit the beach! First night out was pretty good. Very first tgt was the gold chain and Star of David pendant (14K, 8.32 grams) and five feet away, the second tgt was more gold, a cross (14K 2.63 grams). I was pretty stoked! The rest of that hunt wasn't too bad, 3 rings 1 junk and 2 silver along with some junk earrings.
Next hunt, pretty uneventful, lots of junk and light tgts.
Last night, much better but not a whole lot out there. I again started off with gold (my second tgt), a nice little 14K band at 3.86 grams, after that it was all down hill and didn't find much more but no complaints here!
I wish you all continued success! Hoping to see what the beach holds later this week! Good luck all!
