try checking at least a few days worth to see if it is an old topic. Plenty of noob questions are recycled but it seems lately some of you are asking the same questions once a day.

I say we just take them out and keelhaul them. I don't think we have ever turned a cold shoulder to anyone here,especially new recruits. As I recall, we don't have to read any posts that seem familiar or repetitious. Bring on all the questions, the new visitors and members add some spark to this forum. I don't think newbies can search without joining can they? No big deal. JP

We can't use Tnet search but we can use Google search to search within Tnet. Minor point though. I agree with your post. I like this forum because it is friendly to newbies, despite the somewhat competitive nature of the hobby. I think on any internet forum there will be new people who don't read and ask old questions, but there's nothing that can be done about it. Being unfriendly doesn't stop it, but it does start a lot of drama and make people unhappy.
