Hello from TN.
I have wanted a detector for years but other hobbies have taken all my free time. But now I am ready to buy one and make time for it.
I think I have decided on a Eurotek Pro to start. I think the 705 looks really good but from what I read I think I should start with a more basic unit.
Any thoughts on that?

Thanks ahead of time for any input,

Gary

Greetings from Chattanooga. There are quite a few Tennesseans on here. You have made a good choice of detector.

Thanks everyone, I am in McMinn Co. I know of a few old home places and the Federal Road runs through here not far from my house. I hope to hit these places and more as soon as it warms up.

Welcome to the forum! The X-terra 705 is still an easy to use machine, it's a proven performer at it's price point. The EuroTek is a good entry level machine.
