Late 1800's to early 1900's. I've found a similar buckle(not same fraternity) but close in looks.

This might piece might be associated with the Uniform rank of the Knights of Tabor fraternal group. Here is an image of a button from the Waterbury site and also some other informational links about the group.

Very interesting Bram.I see the same Knight bust in some of the Templar regalia?The "U",is throwing me though.I am almost certain we have seen this buckle posted before?

.....didnt mean your buckle....meant somebody else did,and it was IDed
