1st box haf 1 40% (better than a skunk) then 2nd box (best in a long time and dont laugh) 3 40%s thought maybe I had hit a ag vein?
But no next 8 boxes skunks
Still best week ive had in a while 4 40%s

Im in your boat too! 8 boxes yesterday... all skunks. 2 boxes of dimes as well... both skunks. In 2 boxes of nickels, I pulled 3 war and 5 buffs (including a poor condition 1913D type 1), so at least I found SOMETHING. 13 boxes coming today. Hopefully I get something!

Russell, have you thought about trying to order from another carrier? Or maybe or from another branch of your dump bank farther away? I tried this awhile back, I did find some keepers but did get some if my dumps too,but, there must be people searching the other carrier on your area finding something. Maybe something to try. HH, Maverick.

Glad to hear you're finding some silver. I don't do the volume u do but my last 2 half boxes have been skunks. I tend to have better success with customer halves. Too bad u cant get many customer halves where u live because u would probably have better luck with them also.

Hope u can find more silver boxes and don't have any more long skunk streaks again anytime soon.

I have two different carriers amonst the 10 boxes- I do dump into one of them (loomis) but its the only CU that has coin counters that dont have a daily limit (others around me have a $200 limit per day anything over is 10% on the total dump) and to get another courier id have to go too far outa my way in my books to make it worth a weekly pick up (I did try during summer during my big skunk streak a couple other carriers that only added to the skunks) so ive just stuck with what I have- im gonna start up dimes real soon- it was about this time last year I was hitting real good numbers from them ( avg 3-5 a box)
It is what it is im afraid in my area- talked to a big volume hunter (50boxes a week only does 15 boxes from 1 of my carriers so he said) a couple weeks ago and he said two yrs ago he was avg 20-30 a box and more often than not he'd have 50 a box now he is less than 5 a box and ready to call it quits

Ive said it before- I dont have anything to compare it to in my hunting days really- only reading you guys stories- so to me its the norm- had I had success and good boxes before ya I think I would be close to giving up but since my avg has been less than 1 a box pretty much the whole time ive hunted halves thats all I know- just hope one day to find a good box (20+)

I'm the same way, averaging 1, 40%-er/box is all I know b/c I only recently started looking. I missed the good old days, too, $&#*@!
