Better odds for quarters?

In my experience it is more luck than anything else. I've had about the same amount of luck. I do $1,000 a week in halves, $250 a week in dimes and $100 a week in nickels. I've not done quarters before so I can't say specifically, but I can only assume the same holds true with quarters as with the other denominations. I'm on a skunk streak on halves for over a month, but have had a fair amount of success on the rest. I got 2 Buffalo nickels out of yesterday's box. Hopefully the rest will pick up. Good luck on your quest for the quarter!...Brad

I would do halves only!! You will get the most oz for your time. Good luck!

I have over 200 silver halves in just over 2 months of crh I just have some goals I want to complete now.. I found a mercury dime, a Franklin, a proof collection dump, a silver half dump... Just need a walking liberty half, silver quarter, war nickel, buffalo nickel

Buy 2 boxes of nickels. I would say you would have a 80% chance of getting the buffalo and war nickel scratched off your list.

I have found 3 silver quarters all from the reject bin of my local coin counter.
If it is your goal to find a silver quarter, I would suggest buying boxes of quarters and keep going. I think you will find one, but not sure how many skunk boxes you'll go thru first.

Wow!! I actually just got one from some cwr today about $300 worth. My first quarter haha finally.

A couple times a week I pick up $100 in quarters. Over the course of a year ($10,000 in quarters), I average about 5-6 silver quarters - NOT a great percentage, but I also look for errors. I usually find more in CWR, but occasionally in MWR. Last year found a silver quarter ender in a clear plastic roll - blew my mind!

Quarters will be the first denomination I give up when I'm crunched for time, as it just isn't worth the effort.
