Big and Small...

[romeo-1]

I went back to the site I have been hammering for one last check...this is really the last time I go there until it is plowed...

I did manage to pick up my biggest crotal bell yet...completely intact! Inscribed with the number 5 and "N". To go with that I picked up a smaller bell inscribed with a 2. I still like to find these and have amassed quite a collection...just got to figure out what to do with them.

I could only manage a broken crotal bell today, but I to like to find the whole & ringing

For years now I've wanted to find one of those bells.

Very cool

Not as old as the medieval bells you dig over there but probably mid 1800s...

Those crotal bells are awesome!!! I just found my very first one a few weeks back, and was thrilled with it! I'd love to find some more.

Some cool bells. Nice shape too. Nate and I have only found a few completely intact. Maybe it would be good to send a few this way to round our pitiful collection.

Romeo, I love finding crotal bells. I have about 4 or 5 of those buggards.

Keep up the great digging, man!

Way to go! By the way, what is the copper thingy in your head next to the croatals? Looks like a baggage claim.

Very nice. Haven't dug one in a long time. Would be nice to see one with a maker come out but most seem to predate our sites.
