Big ballin' after husband found this at the park!!!

Soooo, my husband took MY new metal detector to the park , and he found this ring. He thought it was just a dumb fake ring, and gave it to our six-yr-old. I asked him if he found anything, and he told our girl to show mommy. I took that crap away real quick to inspect. As soon as I inspected I knew it was white gold. I think the baguettes on the side are real diamonds. But I don't know what the center gem is. I'm thinking it is tourmaline? Great find and reward awaiting the hubby. It is my at pro gold that found it though.

Husband wants me to plug his name. It's bob-e-pin. Pshhhhhhss with my at pro gold.

I can't imagine anything fake looking that spectacular!. Especially from out of the ground. That's really cool!

Wow ! Nice - What are the marks inside the band ? Tourmaline is a decent guess from the pic I'm seeing .

Nice find! So, what is Bob E Pins "reward" you mentioned? :)

Bob-e-pin's reward is extra happy wife, extra happy life. The markings inside are a 14K then an A followed by copyright symbol.

Nice find! And what did the daughter have to say about loosing "her" ring

The daughter was upset, so I got her an ice cream. It's fair. She's happy, I'm ecstatic.

Oh, my word. You guys hit the mother lode!

The machine NEVER finds ANYTHING! It's the person who is driving that does the work. So, sorry to say, even if it was your machine he borrowed. It is STILL his ring to do with as he sees fit. So, give it back to your six year old. :tongue3:

THAT is a nice ring! Congrats! Run that by your local jewelery store, I always do, they can give you a good idea of what the center stone is. Does look like a pink tourmaline but you never know!
Good luck!

:protest::protest::protest: give it back to the kid,

Can't believe you stole it from an innocent little child when her daddy gave it to her.

Keep the ring and give it to your daughter when she is old enough to appreciate it!

I am Voting that Momma Gets to Keep It Until The Little One Grows up Enough to Treasure it!!! HH Chug

Once given it shouldn't be taken away!
I would save it for her and give it to her on her wedding day or graduation from college!

Could it be a light pink ruby?
