Big ballin' after husband found this at the park!!!

Soooo, my husband took MY new metal detector to the park , and he found this ring. He thought it was just a dumb fake ring, and gave it to our six-yr-old. I asked him if he found anything, and he told our girl to show mommy. I took that crap away real quick to inspect. As soon as I inspected I knew it was white gold. I think the baguettes on the side are real diamonds. But I don't know what the center gem is. I'm thinking it is tourmaline? Great find and reward awaiting the hubby. It is my at pro gold that found it though.

Yeah..... Could be a Padparadsha Sapphire on the pink side of the scale. Corundum by any other name is a Sapphire. A ruby is simply a sapphire that falls within a hue range of red. Some interpret what makes a ruby or a cornflower or a padparadsha much ore loosely that others. Like Tourmalines..... some people have very loose qualifications of what a Paraiba tourmaline is in the way of color. Some people might call the rock in that ring a Watermelon Tourmaline.
