Big haul today!!!

About a year ago the couple across from my grandparents hours passed away within a few months of each other. Their kids left the house empty but have recently started to clean it out the contents I assume so they can sell the place. Here is what I picked out.

First up is a scented oil lamp new in box never used. Some of the oil has leaked and stained the box.


Next is this doll house with some accessories



This cabinet will be staying home with me. Not sure what I'll use it for but I like it


A kodak 8mm camera with Bausch & Lomb leather I assume case


Couple cute salt and pepper shaker and cool match books. Probably not worth anything ill probably end up trashing them myself.


A bunch of old tools. If anyone could tell me what the 3 bigger things on the left are used for that would be great. Also if anyone knows anything about the last pictures tool lmk. The second picture is of a pistol grip saw I looked up the patent it was patented in 1933



A black club marked US on the bottom. Any info?


And finally my favorite find of the day a team photo of the 1973-1974 Philadelphia Flyers the year they won their first of back to back Stanley cups. As a die hard fan this was awesome to find. Not in great shape but a keeper in my book

Thanks Al! There is a third thing next to the planes. Smaller than the both of the planes and looks different too. I'll assume another wool working tool for now

The two bigger tools are wood planers for shaving down wood items and the tool on the far right is a pipe cutter.

The planes are nice, I have some that I use occasionally, the pic just before the baton is a pipe cutter, for copper pipe or thin steel tubing

Nice haul,, I have a vendors license and those tools go quick if priced right. The "Pipe Cutter" is actually a Tubing Cutter for copper sweat pipe.

The pistol grip holds a small saw blade. Very useful, I have one in my tool kit, handed down from my dad.

Great Haul! The US police baton is standard Military Police issue from the end of WW2 up into the 90's most likely. Your Bausch and Lomb leather case appears to be originally for binoculars. Sub

The cabinet looks like a "barristers" or sectional bookcase with only one bookcase unit -- looks like a smaller one (narrow). You could buy as many units as you wanted, stacking them to make your bookcase as tall as desired. Is it made of metal? I have a few, they are great for books or for displaying smaller collectibles.

Yes it is made of metal. The top flat piece does come off and looks like you could stack more things on top of it. I thought it would make a great display cabinet

Like everything USGI, they were made by one of many contractors. The design never changed over the decades, and I have never seen one with a maker's mark, only the US mark on the butt end or tip. Overall condition and wear would indicate newer vs. older. A great collectible and research your state law about owning a police baton if you are not a law enforcement officer or security officer. Don't want you to get in trouble! Sub
