Big silver and more wheat.

I headed back to the woods today and beat the bushes. 90 degrees and the mosquitoes were biting through my shirt.[had Cutters on my arms]. Sweated it out for 3 hours and found these. 51 Franklin half and 1916, 29, 44, ?, ?, wheats. The silver made it all worthwhile.

I found my first Benny last week..bet it felt great to see that come up after all that work! Nice job!

Yes it was a treat to see the half come out of the ground.
I could not tell what it was as it was covered with black dirt.
I carry a plastic vitamin bottle full of water. [just big enough to drop a half into.]
Instead of wiping off the dirt I drop any silver into the bottle and let them soak til I get home. Usually I can tell what they are then and know weather they are key dates.
If not I clean them with a soft toothbrush.
That is my first Franklin half.
