Hit a new park with a friend today. Pulled a 1917 merc in very good shape for its age

Came home and contemplated calling it a day...but I decided to venture out to a park that's closer to home. Pulled my second merc of the day right away. Then about a half-hour later I got a screaming 12-47 at 7" on the etrac. I was sure it was a silver quarter. Turns out it was a little bigger than that...my second walker.

Rounded out the day with a sweet sterling ring. The barber is from last night.

sold a '17 Merc dug from old old tree last summer for $12--- about same condition as yours, great save!!

Great hunt, and great persistance! Just when I tell myself its time to quit, I always seem to dig a few more holes. You never know....

Very nice Murray! I'd be back at that park tomorrow if I were you...

Nice finds, must be nice having parks that hold silver.

I would say there's more from where those came from, glad you are going back today.

Congratz! Still looking for my first Walker. It's my favorite coin. That 1917 Mercury looks great!
