Big Silver From The AZ Desert!

Went back to the ghost town where I found the 1899-s dime not long ago hoping for a repeat.
Got better than a repeat when I had a signal that I was sure was an aluminum can and out popped a 1894-s half dollar!
Also got a padlock missing the shank,
a salt jar lid,
part of a ceramic doll,
a clay pipe stem,
some clothing fasteners,
some cartridge shells,
and an ornate little piece of silver.

What? No mention of me being your good luck charm? 😁 Or the fact that you found that Barber half in an area with tens of thousands of tin cans? Fun hunt and glad for the invite even if we didn't find more in the way of coins. Kind of weird that two Barbers are found in that huge area, and no other coins and very few other non-ferrous items. Not an easy place to hunt though with all those cans everywhere. Here's another view of that stone-lined cellar and my meager finds. I was hoping my bottle would have been complete, but, alas, all the millions of glass pieces we saw were all fragments. Some Levi rivets, the harmonica reed, Schlitz emblem, and a brass buckle piece was about all I had to brag about.

My bad for not mentioning you, my good luck hunting buddy!
That place is definitely a tough hunt, but it's typical for these desert ghost towns as there's not enough moisture to make the cans rust away.
