Lakeland FL got really nothing. Some rain, pretty much normal everyday occurrence, and really nothing wind wise.
We were lucky. Hopefully those north of us fair as well.

it is now apparent that Dave has been swept out into the gulf and will never be heard from again.
I imagine his wife will need some comforting, so I ought to head down that way.

My wife and I escaped the fury of Hermine by heading south...
Planned it a while ago, but for her birthday a long weekend getaway road trip to Key West.
No pics, as I refused to implicate myself in any shinanigans in any way...
Mel Fishers museum, the butterfly exhibit, hemingways, countless restaurants, shops, and bars....
Left the machine at home, as this was her weekend to celebrate....just got back earlier this evening, tired.
