Nice! I miss my K1000! One of the best cameras I ever had. Man that thing took a beating and still worked great.

Mike - great shots but that first one just blows me away! Love it!

K1000 was and still is a killer film camera. Nearly indestructible. Still have two of them in perfect working order. Might have to break it out tomorrow...

K1000 was/is a great camera. A lot of great photos made with it. I used a Minolta XD-11 and then an XK back in my film days.

K1000 (Pentex) is similar to my Nikon...now sitting in a desk drawer...with about 4 rolls of film in the frig...

Local camera store just closed...there gos an era

I alway over exposed my K1000 and i usually had them developed in a matte finish. I learned with these photo's -they don't scan to good.Like you i'm my own worst critic. You having 2 of them says a lot to me. Still have mine too

I had a lot of fun with it but i never figured out how to make a profit on them.

My K1000 era ended in 1996 Sitting in the cabinet since. And thanks to Brian for getting me to check it out I forgot how to open the back and i realized the batteries were still in it
after all those years. Luckily they didn't corrode.

You're probably better off not having one Allen
I started young and moved up in phases not without bumps, bruises, and broken bones though.
Now ...... it's all about detecting and snapping photos
