Biodegradable pennies ---- one UGLY idol

Thought I'd try the old downtown park. Go after those elusive mercs and SL's. At one time the railroad came right through the middle of town, back in the days when people used to ride trains. Today it's a strip park about four or five blocks long, nice park benches and award winning sculptures here and there.

It turned out to be a penny/dime day. Why? I haven't a clue; I've come to the conclusion that you never know what a particular site will be like till you've done it. Sorta like fine wine or a pretty... well, I'm not going there!!

Found a couple of name tags: "Charles E. Thompson" and "Crazy C"; Don't think that I'll try to find their owners, they've probably forgotten who they are since losing their tags. Dug up a couple of quarters as well; some of those bio-degradable pennies (soon our paper money will be printed with disappearing ink) and one wheatie. Then having decided to call it a day I kept swingin' the coil on the way back to the car. Good and strong signal! ok, i'll dig it. Under the plug came out one of those indescribable melted blobs, but wait!! It's the darn ugliest little idol or charm I have ever seen!! Maybe it's my lucky charm, I don't know, but it sure is UGLYYYY. Happy Hunting all. Thanks for looking.

I may just do that Ty, after all it did bring me good luck today, found my first non-beach ring after a 20 yr hiatus of md'ing. Not much of a ring but a ring, nonetheless, looks like it may be silver. No picture of it but I may get it on my next post.

I could not happen but notice the "King Cobra" 40 oz. screwcap. That is conjunction with your evil idol and name tags (will you be assuming the street names on them?), makes your hunt today all inclusive, varied, and exceedingly gangsta in nature.

Now I really don't kow what to do with this thing. The descriptions are:
a) Ian-- Bad luck, cursed
b) Ty--- Cool, a keeper
c) rmpr--- Bad Luck, Careful reburial a must
d) plebah--- Close relative of "King Cobra", gangsta
e) 49er--- Not golden

So... What I've decided to do is this. Check it for gold content (surely it's at least 18K), buy a couple of King Cobras, find the owner of the Crazy C name tag and have a solemn re-burial with the aid of the King Cobras, except only pretend to bury it and at the last moment switch it with the old KC cap, palm it so the other gods won't see, then as eye of Tropical Storm Fay passes over (as I write this we are right in the middle of the cone of death of Fay) ..as it passes over I will throw it high in the air so that it will get sucked up and seed the clouds with gold dust bringing the curse to an end and gold flecks will settle back to earth so that all md'ers will find good hunting grounds. S'pose it'll work?

I'll tell you what I'd do, Dirt... Start your own cache with that evil voodoo character.
Thinking a little further, go to that Bad, mean, neighbor's house at night and plant it down 6" right at the street edge of his property facing his house, and AWAY from yours!
Bad juju on him for being a bad sort, and you could quickly retrieve it any time you want to send the bad juju elsewhere.

And I wouldn't really advise doing anything < I > say...

I'm the guy who gets so ticked off at junk mail I put it in a bag 'til it's full and take it back to the post office!
Probably a good thing I haven't been arrested for doing it!
