Box of halves, and strange new marking. Anyone seen???

Got my box of halves today. Total skunk, not even a NIFC.... Oh well, did find about 50 with this strange new punch marking. Anyone seen this one before?

Here is a closer shot of the coins. The marking is to the right of Kennedy's head.

Well, it's definitely a punch, nothing wrong with the die, some guy probably looked through them and stamped the ones he didn't want in his collection and then released them out into the wild.

strange enough, I found one of those my last batch of 2 boxes of halves... hopefully my local coin counter will accept it, it throws back anything unusual HH
