Box of nickels find

^ a 1929 and 1913 (type 2) nickel both philly (also 3 Canadian underneath)

^ top is a '44 (denver), and bottom 2 are '39 philly

This was my best box to date!
got another one sittin next to me, so i'll post those winners later.

Approx 29 million minted, so there is plenty of supply for collectors which keeps prices down. But for face value, you found a real nice keeper. It would be a solid Fine, perhaps pushing a Very Fine (better pics would help) grade. Prices would range from $12 - $15.

That is an incredible buffalo nickel. I have yet to come across a buffalo with a full horn. HH!

Type 1's are better. I found this baby a few months ago.

Nice finds. I have my best luck in nickels. I get $20 worth once or twice a week and have found a lot of buffalo and war nickels and a few "V" nickels as well.
