Boxes 17 & 18

Got my first 2 half boxes for the week and The first 1 number 17 produced 1 1967 Kenndy I got off my skunk roll. Yea but it is only 1 but that is a start right. So I got to number 18 yep you guess it SKUNK again. I get one more half box tomorrow with 2 dime boxes.......Matt

Keep hitting it, I got sunked today on the halves. I may try new technique. ( stop ordering sunk boxes from this one bank it has been like 10 boxes from them and one 64.

Well.. at least you ended the streak.. you didn't have something like a 40 box skunk streak. :icon_thumleft:

Being in Ohio, do you know about a company called Jackson Metals? I read somewhere that they claimed to have searched $14 million in Halves from all around the country, but probably mostly from Ohio where they are located. Perhaps they are partially to blame for your skunk streak. Although it would be pretty cool to run a whole company partially based on CRHing.

No I have not heard of them. But I did really good the first part of the year then this last 5 or 6 weeks has really suck. As you can see what I have found this year I have listed. So I don't know what has happen here lately. I just hope it turns back around......Matt

Matt, what has probably happened is that you cleaned up your area of all the stray silver early in the year. Now, the finds are slim and periodically trickle in. It's possible that your dumped box clad is being recycled right back to you.

Did anyone notice that last line in the article?

"I think we've recovered the last of the silver coins," says Luhrman. "Our process is very thorough."

I'm in Indiana, so they must have gotten all the silver here too. I am on box #14 of skunks.
