Today I found my second Boy Scout Scarf slide, the one pictured on the left. A couple of months ago I found the one on the right. Both were in the woods, miles apart, relics from camp outs. Both were buried a couple of inches deep in the forest floor. I was a Boy Scout during the early 70's. From what I remember, these slides seem older.
They remind me of that time in my life when Scouting was an important part of growing up, learning team work along with survival and outdoors skills.
