Brand new to this whole thing.

My name is Dan. 31 yrs old, long walks, yada yada. I live in eastern Connecticut and just picked up my first detector. I decided to pick up the F44 last week at metalDetector.com in Massachusetts which I will review shortly from a newbs perspective, and shortly (like 2 days) after, bought a TRX pin pointer, which I will also review from a newbs eyes'.

Anyway, I've been out a couple times for a few hours and have found about a dollar in clad, and a bunch of random metal things. Like bolts and nails and other trash.

I'm not giving up though! I plan to hit all the wicked old stonewalls around here. I heard there is something particular to look for in stone walls.

I think I'm gonna enjoy this forum and all you fellow diggers. Thanks.
