🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Brass/Copper Maple Leaf Badge/Pendant??

I dug this piece, which appears to be a maple leaf design. It's 1.25'' in height. There is no noticeable attachment hooks. I dug it in Vicksburg, MS area. Any ideas??

Looks more like a sycamore leaf to me,but that still doesn,t ID what it,s supposed to be.

Might it have been part of a decorative wall hanging,say a cluster of these and that one is broken off?

The first image has the leaf forming a loop hole against the side of the leaf top. I assume it was a necklace pendant.
