🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Bronze or brass molds?

Hello- I dug up these two odd items (in an antique store). They appear to be bronze or brass or old copper, non magnetic but fairly heavy with a nice patina. One is about 4.5 in, the other about 6.5 inches. Anyone seen something like these before? I am guessing that they are molds for making casts for legs for something.

They just have rough crosses on the backs. Any thoughts?

Anyone have any thoughts on what the little decorative legs might be for? Maybe a teapot or some other metalware? Anyone run across anything like this before? Thanks!

Those are flatware handle molds. IMO

Once upon a time people, especially rural ones, cast pewter into flatware and buttons. Those molds look like they are for that purpose and and of that vintage. I have retrieved parts of spoons made that way while metal detecting colonial era homesteads.
