Breck lights

Went down to Breckenridge CO early this a.m. to get a few light pics. 7 above and light snow, but not much traffic or tourists out. Way too many things to take pics of, but here's a few representative shots along Main Street.

The West has always been on my list to visit. I guess it's a "bucket list" thing.
Sometimes I actually feel I am in the wrong place (East). I have felt that "draw" to those open and desolate desert spots.

My son recently drove to Washington state to live after getting his Masters In IT. He called me at like 3AM from the Black Hills and said" he feels like he was on Mars".
From the desolation of the area and the ability to actually see a large portion of the Milky Way.
I fondly remember as a kid seeing the Milky Way and marveling at just how beautiful the night sky really is.
