Bright colors

Think this is the brightest colored point Ive ever found. ideas on material?

Could it be carnelian chalcedony (commonly referred to as carnelian agate or orange chert)

Orange chert, greasy chert, Carnelian chert is probably spot on and is a west coast Chalcedony from agatized coral. I've seen it swirled with white. Yours looks heat treated as well. I found a broken base made of it in Pasco County years ago. That's a very nice point.

Great color, it is on the bright side, but very nice looking.

looks like yellow jasper to me... I have a lot of it. In any case what you call it specifically is unimportant. Ultimately it is in a class called "Siliceous" stone.
