Lets see some colorful artifacts. Here is one I found a few years ago. The Hernando I found over 50yrs ago

I think it's just white flint, there's no grain to it.

These white and red points were all found in Pasco County in the early 80's. The points look like 2 separate types of materials fused together when you look at them magnified. I didn't find them at the same time but in the same proximity over several searches.

Ohio Hopewell made of Flintridge. Found by a good friend on his grandparents farm in the 60's near Marrietta, Ohio.

I guess different material can be formed together. Check out the material of this Marion. Center one
