Got a waterfall hole to explore. Depth unknown. The 4 is not cutting it, to much rock chucking/handling. This outta speed things up. 2 eighteens with 4-3 pumps.

Stunning, just stunning MEG! Got to like the dual boat fuel tanks for the motors. That may not solve all of your problems but it will make the list of problems smaller

It was a long 4x4 road in, rugged and steep in places. 6+ hours highlining parts and pieces down a hundred + foot steep embankment. Sorry, no pictures. Early next morning it was a couple hours of assembly/setup time. And now the hole work begins.

MEG,
Your short description of the drive and getting the equipment in to "The Hole" took me back to when I backpacked my 2" Keene along with all the support equipment and camping gear "in", I so appreciate what you went through! I had 3000' vertical feet of carrying my 200+ pounds of stuff in but the moment you stated 'highlining' parts and pieces I knew it was not easy work. Your spot is gorgeous. I wish you the very best of Success and safety and thank you for sharing!...................63bkpkr

You should rig a "sled", it's easier than a highline

It was an old boat sold by Sears way back when. We also use a sled made of 4" x 4" for rails and a 2x 4 deck. W e use a p/u truck cargo net and and have built in tie down points

Just salt crystal size and smaller float gold at this time. With the exception of an occasional small boulder, there remains lots and lots of silt, sand, pea size pieces of rock up to a size just able to pass through the nozzle so far. There has been so much overburden move to this point, this hole looks like it may reach the other side of the world before bottom is reached. Hose length at this time is 37 feet. Will be bringing in an additional 25 feet.

Down about 14 feet now. It's Lewis Chainsaw Winch and boulder removing time. Periodic material sampling to this point still just showing gold table salt size and smaller.
