Brinks vs. NF String

I'm talking about dime boxes. Have you guys had better luck with string boxes? I find brinks seems to be little or no silver where as string boxes produce 2-3 silvers per box. However brinks are shrink wrapped which allows you to search in about 3 minutes flat and they are easy to dump because the tellers can actually see the contents of each roll, which means you can dump them at any non-member bank you want. Do you guys experience the same thing? I'm probably gonna stick with string boxes. p.s. I've never searched brinks half dollars.

thats what i learned... but only get clear brinks... so i have to deal with it, 2 boxes a week. i get like 1-3 for most part... i should try to dump them at a bank... but i unwrap for coin machines...

I have never gotten a brinks box of anything, but of my 23 String dime boxes in May only 4 of them were skunks. I do get more Canadian dimes than I'd like though...

Brinks - they stink - yes, easier to search, in clear condoms, but what's the point? String boxes all the way.

Brinks is easy to search dimes as they are clear. I have only gotten about one silver per box. The halves on the other hand are paper wrapped and I get 1-2k a week and are hit and miss. I dump all my coin in coin machine except halves as they only accept them wrapped so I reroll. I also get looomis halves and they too are paper wrapped. Been having better luck lately with loomis boxes.

I agree, Brinks stink around here. Even the Brinks penny boxes here were loaded with lots of really dirty and corroded pennies. I stopped buying Brinks.
