Spent a couple hours out today, after the rain we’ve had here in the Miami Valley of Ohio, it was like a whole new virgin site. Found a bunch of flint and these two broken points, broken raises my hopes there’s more out there. There is always hope the smoker point will be on next row of field, nice finds good luck looking.

Nice finds , I was wondering if some Ohio finds were gonna be popping up hopefully everybody stayed safe with all that flooding

Its a start look for flakes close by in the area you might find the camp that way then you will find more things

I found more flint in this area yesterday than I have all the other times combined. There is a now tiled creek through the field, but with the amount of rain we have gotten it overflows and brings a lot from ??. It was like I was looking on a virgin site yesterday.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1519848032.044089.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1519848049.754952.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1519848063.591210.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1519848078.169283.webp

I also found this and not really close to a creek that I’m aware of.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1519848188.856904.webp

Looks like a great spot to hunt. As for the crayfish, an animal might have brought it there and for some reason didn't eat it and the only reason I say that is last year I found one on a 3 ft high tree stump, weird is that it was at the top of a creek bank where water never gets that high. Maybe in my case it was the blue crane dropped it there and got scared off or another bird or even a raccoon lol But a real mystery for sure. Good luck on your next hunt!

Crayfish effigy. Just follow the trail to the start and look for flint along the edges. Seeing its a field there is no telling just where it came from. Farmers will move dirt from different spots if its low and high they want it level. Look in the dirt roads also. What state?
