Looks like an early stage preform that was abandoned. Width to thickness ratio not good. It's not wide enough for the thickness so it could never be thinned. Looks like more Reed Springs material. Gary
 
Thanks Gary , this came out of swan creek about an hour from reed springs. Got invited to private plowed field on the James River today right near reed springs, I'll post if I find more.
