well out to to finish out a permission that I hunted yesterday which I call the wheaty house, so it target was a mexican coin and a wheaty then a got 12-46 /47 signal and I was thinking another wheaty or clad. i cut the plug and saw grey disc cool a washington so I thought and this a worn out SLQ !!!! my first ever on my bucket list !!!!. end of the hunt top off with 1960 Rosie yes!!!

Congrats on yet another sweet permission and scoring a bucket list item. I'd go back over that site with a different coil and grid it in a different direction. Took me 2 years to dig my 1st one and now this year I have pulled 3 of them.

I don't see any stars under the eagle so it's 1916 or 1917. You might want to research the obverse because the 16 and 17 are a little different. A 16 in that condition might bring in some decent dollars. Nice find!!!!!

That is a beautiful coin, I just love em. Great way to end that silver coin drought, with a bucket lister!!
Ken, a 1916, the eagle's tail would almost be touching the A, from 1917 on, they raised the Eagle like Jimmy's to make room for the 3 stars. It's still a thrill to dig these guys, congrats Jimmy!!!
