I continue to hunt the 1796 Huguenot property, a recent new permission. So far, its been buttons galore and a large cent which I posted last week. I only had about two hours to hunt yesterday, but my second signal revealed a great bucket lister for me - a 1852 Trime in fantastic condition!

Needless to say, I'm stoked! Loading up for another full day hunt right now. Good luck to all!

Boy...that trime is in really great condition. Its always a thrill when something so tiny and shiny comes out of the ground. Well done!

Super find, congrats. It is in beautiful shape too. May I inquire what VDI and depth you found it? We don't see many of those here and I am also an ATPro user. Sub 8-)

Well done and a rare find indeed!!! :notworthy: It's such a rush to find those thin little discs and to have them reveal that CIII or the 6 pointed star! Yours is in great shape and was probably dropped fairly early on.

Great save! A bucket lister for me as well, so I am very happy when I see people pulling them out of the ground, especially in such great condition. Congrats and happy hunting!

Thanks, Scrappy. I'm fortunate to be living in an area full of colonial era homes that have remained occupied over the years, so there is just no telling what one may find at these sites.

Very sweet find Tommy,
I'm still looking for a Trime.
Congratulations

Thanks, ATW. These coins were minted by the millions, so you would think they would be a more common find; but these little rascals are hiding!

Thanks, Bass. This is one of those coins that I'd pretty much given up on, then just when you least expect it - BINGO!

I'm trime to find one of those, too!

Thanks, Silvermonkey. Having never held one before, I was surprised at how tiny they are.

Thanks, Sub. It was about 3.5 inches deep and ringing up between 79-81. I was expecting a penny of some sort.
