What is up TNet:hello:
Finally came upon a Cellar that was never hunted i think..The site was tough to hunt as it had been bulldozed years ago..Trees
on the ground everywhere and briar..Also had some EMI problems there must have been underground wires somewhere in the area.
This site was never on any maps and i found it by following a stone wall into the woods walking my dog the other day..
First target was
3/4 of Colonial buckle.
Nice decor 2 piece button.
Some kind of eyeglass frame looking thing?
A few Colonial buttons
Monster bell this bell is thick cast man wow!
Believe it or not one of my favorite finds is this hand forged nail it's unique and in pristine condition!
And a few other relics not 1 coin except a strange small Chinese 10 cent piece probably from the 19th century..
It was great to get out it started snowing bad as soon as i left!!Perfect timing..

Good luck out there:thumbsup:

~Blaze~

Nice job blaze :occasion14:

Love the bell, escutcheon and even the nail is a killer find in my opinion. Great hunt.

Nice finds JB. Really like the bell......congrats. Seems like a cool place

Sweet hunt Blaze! I also love finding those nails. You can see the hammer marks on the taper and the head. I separate those rose heads from the square nails, tumble them and display them with my Colonial relics. They really are awesome. Love the buckle and the Bell too. Nice job.

Another little dream hunt, congrats Blaze! Any military/political significance to the "seven dot" button? Sub 8-)

Time to invest in a bush hog JB! Sweet bell and the buckle ain't half bad either. The rose head-ish nail doesn't look like its been used.

I like it all JB-especially the bell. That nail is not a run of the mill blacksmith made square nail-very cool. Glad you beat the snow Bud & WTG, Q.

Cool relics Blaze, I'd have kept those digs to. :icon_thumleft:

Great finds Blaze! That's a killer buckle and the buttons are also big winners. Strange as it may sound (but considering all the pics it looks like you may think it's special too) that nail is my favorite and definitely colonial. Looks like a rose head nail with a spatula point. Hammer marks and good condition makes it my favorite find. Thanks for sharing and congrats on a nice site

Steve

THE NAILS HAVE THE ROUND EDGE WERE USED AT TIMES FOR WOODEN SHINGLES AND CLAPBOARDS FOR THEY KEPT THE WOOD FROM SPLITTING ... . NICE FINDS..

Cool furniture escutchion JB. The rose head nail is an excellent example and definitely a keeper. I keep the nicer ones that I find.

Got to hit that place again and again! Nice finds!

Very nice looking bell
