Bullet mold and possible trigger guard

Found the bullet mold yesterday. Looks like for a pistol. The other item looks like a piece of a small gun trigger guard. Any ideas?

I have a .36 caliber Manhattan Arms mold that looks just like it. It was passed down in my family to me. The Colt molds look the same.
Your's is missing the sprue cutter. There may be a name below the hinge on the side in your photo.

That one piece is ether trigger guard or the tang off a butt plate.
