Bullet & shell Find in woods ID please

Hey guys im going from woods to woods hunting for those elusive coppers. Found these two items. Little one was 6" deep. Shell drop was 2" . As i dug that shell a nosy dude parks where he can get a view of me. Im not too deep at this point so i can be seen if you break your neck! I swear do these people have nothing better to do! Yeah dude im pulling captain morgans lost wedding ring out of them woods. We are doing a service not destroying a part of the woods which you never stepped foot in anyways but now hes so interested.

Shell says winchester repeater is it old?

Paper shell it looks to be

Without measurements it's hard to say, but it looks like a .22 long rifle bullet and the brass off a shot shell, which looks like it was a low base paper shell intended for birds and small game.
