Detector(s) used
Whites DFX 300
First off, I want to give many thanks to all who have helped me learn this great hobby and offering great 411 and tips. It really isn't as easy as just buying a detector and finding great things. Now, I had a pretty good day on Sunday at a farm (I have permission to detect on) just a few miles from home. This place is very old. Spent the day there and had a great time. Where did the time go? I found a very nice 1926 dime (no D or S), a few bullets, some have an embossed star in the back inside, any ideas? I did find something that looks like it may have been an emblem for a coat or hat or something. It has four prongs on the back, again, any ideas? I managed to find a nice button it sang to me on my XLT at about 12in down . There was also loads trash items found and properly discarded. This place is great. It is the only place I have to go to right now and I will be here probably all summer. Thanks again everyone and enjoy the pics.

Beat me to the punch. As I recall, there are several variants to this type.

Nice finds!

Thanks for all the great 411. It's nice to put some histrical details with something I find. If any one has any good information about anything I find and post please feel free to share. My research skill are improving but still fall short at times. Thanks for all your help and good luck.

Very nice. Good for you.

Thank you for sharing.
