Why did it corrode like that on one edge only? Was it touching another coin or piece of metal in the same hole?

It had concrete on it. I'm assuming that's what ate it up. I soaked in vinegar again and got 866. The 1 is gone but at least I know the year. Too bad it's on suck bad shape.
