Hi all, I need some help trying to identify a bout i found awhile back when i was in Maine, at an old foundation. appears to have 8 pointed stars or flower design around rim and no markings on back, about the size of a large cent / slightly bigger. Thanks!

Flat buttons like that will date back into the 1700's
