Thanks all, funny what they call these but when I look up to try and find an original one from rev war nothing comes up. Sounds like they never were really used then. This 2 piece is a lot like the ones I've dug from 1860s to 1920s. I have dug 1700s 2 reales in this area but the button would have to be made differently to be from then
