✅ SOLVED Button Identification

Hi,

Recently found these two buttons metal detecting. One of them appears to be navy related and the other I cannot tell. The smaller one looks like it could be British made but I'm not sure... Any details are appreciated.

Vintage means not very old.
They are fashion/blazer buttons. The Navy would rarely choose a steel back, as it would rust at sea.

As Cru already mentioned, these are likely early-20thc civilian coat buttons. :thumbsup:

Here's an example I found on an old homesite, at first I thought it was 'Merchant Navy' related, but it's likely only a good quality 19thc coat button. :dontknow:
